Evaluation of BC Flood Policy Performance for Coastal Areas in a Changing Climate

Description

The project consisted of an evaluation of current BC Flood policy through public consultation and policy evaluation to determine how it is enabling or hindering adaptation to sea level rise for coastal communities.  The report proposed policy alternatives and recommendations to the Ministry of Environment on how to strengthn the adaptability of coastal communities to sea level rise and climate change.  Consultation took place in Metro Vancouver, the Capital Regional District and mid-Vancouver Island coastal areas.
